On this week's Twitch Tuesday, BJ was joined by three special guests!  The Jay Bell is back from New Jersey bringing a brand new game from Odd Candy called ESP. It's a mind-bending trick-taking game to test your ESP.  

Jeremy is back in the Gumbo Pot, too, with talk of the SoBo Virtual Flea Market and to share post-game thoughts on Fight In A Box's KAISER CUCUMBER!  

And Josh is back, with an update on his project for COALITION as well as a spirited discussion of all four gamers' ENVIE games for the month.

Operation Barclay and Southern Board Game Fest VFM news (with Mitchell)

It’s another “lagniappe” episode of the Gumbo podcast, this time with Mitchell Prudhomme, the director of Southern Board Game Fest!

Pax U Chat -- Whisperstone, Winter Rabbit, Here Lies and Enthrone (with Steve, Julie & Houston)

Tonight, Steve "The Name Father" O'Rourke is back in the Gumbo Pot with BJ, fresh off a visit to PAX UNPLUGGED. But this time, Steve's brought guests -- Julie & Houston, fellow academics and board game aficionados. 

The three enlighten BJ about the wonders of Philly, and break down their impressions of games, games, games:

2. Winter Rabbit (interesting new "4-Cs" game from Absurdist Productions and designer William Thompson)

Cascadia Alpine Lakes -- Lunchtime Lagniappe with Jeremy!

The summer break is over, and we are back in the Gumbo Pot! This time, Jeremy from the Acadiana Board Gamers is back to teach us how to play CASCADIA ALPINE LAKES, out on Kickstarter right now from our friends at Flatout Games.  You like Cascadia? You want it even more breezy, and with a 3D component? Check this game out! 

But we were not alone. The chat krewe was with us, and we did some deep dives about the gameplay and our thoughts after this first two player game for BJ. (Jeremy has played it a bunch with his spouse at home). Plus, there's talk about SoBo and Pax and lots of other shenanigans.

Jay from Cardboard East & Bezier Games - The Game Makers

It’s another “lagniappe” episode of the Gumbo podcast, this time with Jay from Cardboard East! Jay is the marketing manager for Bezier Games, and he’s here to chat about The Game Makers!
