Matt Riddle, designer of Fleet & Wasteland Express Delivery Service, joined BJ & the Krewe to chat spicy hot games plus news about his new publishing company with co-designer, Ben Pinchback, called Motor City Gameworks.
Matt gave us some news about his upcoming Kickstarter project for Three Sisters, a roll and write with art from Beth Sobel that will definitely appeal to fans of Fleet: The Dice Game.

BJ was supposed to be chatting with Tim Virnig of Thunderworks Games, but how about that Year 2020, folks! Luckily for BJ, Verla & Steve were ready to pick up the pieces of this debacle and throw cold water on the dumpster fire.
So yeah. You'll hear a shift after the first minute, and I apologize in advance for the sound quality (just on my mic, fortunately).
Anyway.... Verla & Steve and BJ chat about:
- the new one from Formal Ferret Games, High Rise;
- dive back into Nanga Parbat from Dr. Finn's Games, and
- wrap it up with a discussion of the stand alone expansion for Cartographers called Heroes.

BJ welcomes in Monique and Naveen from Before You Play, a great video channel on YouTube with lots of play throughs. First up, the Chat Krewe has an impromptu "Stump The Guest" segment, trying to call out filler games that Monique and Naveen have never heard of or played. It took a long time before they did!
Next up, BJ and Verla chatted with Monique and Naveen about spicy hot games that they have played recently:

BJ welcomes in Phillip Millman, the Gaming Rabbi and two....scratch that...THREE time World Champion of Baseball Highlights: 2045. Phillip explains why there is a change. They also talk about spicy hot games they have played recently:

The Krewe of Board Game Gumbo chats with Daryl Chow (from Origame) and Josh Cappel (from Burnt Island Games) during their big Kickstarter for In Too Deep. BJ digs the theme: players will "hack" into the minds of cyber enhanced criminals and try to bring down The Syndicate. But if they get too corrupted -- "in too deep" -- they risk losing it all. It is out on Kickstarter from Burnt Island Games.

Finally, the Name Father is back and only 22% distracted by the Islanders deep run into the playoffs. Steve is focused tonight on The Envie Game -- Daryl & Josh have picked one game together that they have the envie to play. Had Steve and BJ done their usual homework, instead of worrying about hockey and hurricanes, they might have picked this one up pretty easily, but instead, there is a shocking twist ending!

Board Game Gumbo Live! welcomes in Molly & Shawn, two of the owners of Flatout Games for a lively chat about their start in hobby gaming, their influences, and why they publish their own line of games.
Then, there is some talk about spicy hot games they have played recently:
- Degrees in Darkness coming soon from Weird Giraffe Games; and
- Adventure Mart from Hub Games
BJ chats with Shawn and Molly with plenty of questions from the Chat Krewe about CASCADIA and CALICO! Cascadia is designed by Randy Flynn and out on Kickstarter next month, and Calico is designed by Kevin Russ and being reprinted by AEG. Beth Sobel provided amazing art for both!
Finally, Verla, Steve & BJ challenge Molly & Shawn in the ENVIE Game. It may be the first time that two guests had the same game in mind! There was a lot of chatter from the Chat Krewe, including questions from Beth Sobel, a surprise guest in the chat!
